My wife's 20th anniversary 2 carat princess wedding set has been completed by James Allen, is at Fedex, and will arrive on Monday! We are very excited and can't wait!

I spent many months lurking here at PS and online diamond sites, and finally began posting here to seek assistance. Of course the members here gave me much needed and invaluable expert advice. Responding to my inquiries and concerns at PS, both Jim Schulz and Josh Cales became personally involved in helping me select a beautiful diamond and making certain the setting was beautifully done. I feel confident that the final product will be extraordinary.

Once it is recieved, I will post photos here for all to see.

The cut of your 2c princess is really nice...so hard to find those smaller tables in princess cuts...good job. Can't wait to see it set.

I was just wondering what you had decided! Nice job finding an AGS0. You can't go wrong with that, and this one looks awesome.

Out of pure curiosity, did you ever get ASETs on the larger GIA ones we were recommending? I'd love to see if they turned out to be OK choices as well.

i usually dont like channel set but that looks really really lovely, and JA doesnt usually take good photos, i bet its just stunning when it gets to you!

My wife and I like modern - in our furnishings and fashion. As an example of our taste my Avatar is a portion of an original painting by marine artist Robert Lyn Nelson. The close-up of the painting seen in the avatar shows five dolphins Robert very kindly placed above the waves for me when I bought it in 2012, representing my immediate family - me my, wife, and three kids. They were not on the original painting seen below, but as you can see the painting is triangular - and appealed to our modern taste! Actually I first saw the painting in Hawaii at the Grand Wailea when the photo was taken with Robert Lyn Nelson and me in 2009, and fell in love with it; but it didn't fit on any wall in our house. When we moves to Los Angeles in 2012, we finally had the wall, and the painiting was still at his studio. As a Hawaiian native, I alway's loved Nelson's work, but the triangle shape really grabbed me...(and you must wonder why we got a princess and not a trillion!)



Initially, as huge fans of the Bachelor/Bachelorette, there we were at Harry Winston looking at halo settings. But after looking at a bunch of them, they just seemed too vintage in style, so we went through hundreds of settings and ended up with this setting. We both have always favored channel set so ended up back where we started in taste.

We chose this setting because it had princess stones on the band, but still was simple enough in design so that it prominently features the center stone. And believe it or not, we both agreed on this same setting as our very favorite. Like the painting, when we both mutually fall in love with the same thing, we get it! And when we are looking for something new we wait now until we find something we both like.

To show our taste beyond this ring, Once we have the ring and it is satisfactory, we are having her original engagement diamond, a round .87, put in this setting:
