Would you visually be able to see the difference between a 2.5 round and a 2.7 -2.8 round? Worth the upgrade?
Thanks!

How much money to you have to burn?

Check out this tool.
Set your ring size and monitor size.
Enter exact mm measurements if they are available.
I could see a difference using the default weights.

So you're saying not enough of a visual difference to spend what I have to, to get to a 2.7?

There is a visual difference, but are we talking D-VVS2 or J-SI2? Big difference in price per carat here.

I think only you would be able to answer the question if it is worth it to you. To some people yes, to others no.

I made a similar decision recently whether .15 ct was worth the extra money, and it was a smaller diamond than yours.

Same with cars, is it worth $15K more to have a Lexus over a Toyota when a Lexus is built on a Toyota chassis.

Let us know what you decide and good luck.

Thanks for your advice and helping me see my situation in a different light. I think i'll wait a bit to upgrade for a couple years as I just bought the 2.5 at the beginning of the year (can you say DSS?!). Maybe a new setting would do the trick for now.
