Its hard to tell from the photos, so how would you describe the color? Would you say its a pinky red or an orangey red? It looks to be quite pretty, but its just hard to tell. Thanks.

Thanks - it is a lovely stone. I've read most of the recent discussions in the colored stones section about orange as a modifier to red. I'd have to say it is definitely more a pinky red than orange red. I've got the vendors original pictures which shows this
more clearly than mine but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to most them on this forum without his permission.
