I’m in the search for a round diamond to upgrade my current 1.2ct diamond and after lurking around for a few month, I came across this one. Unfortunately I have to stick with my current jeweler since it’s a trade in, so options are limited for me. Any advice on the cuts, proportions, color and the medium blue fluorescence would be much appreciated!!!4EA3FD2E-911B-47E7-AC68-E6DBC46A43DE.jpeg

That looks good. It's a bit deeper than recommended here usually for staying within the tightest cut parameters. Can you get a picture and advanced images like IS or ASET?

I think this looks promising! Med fluor is almost never a problem so I wouldn't worry about that. I would definitely want a picture/videos and preferably ASET/IS images if possible, but this is definitely a solid option based on the paper stats.

It’s doesn’t have IS or ASET images. But it has a spinning video. I added it to the post. Thanks for your advice!

I posted the link to the video. As BN doesn’t provide any other images. Let me know what you think! Thanks!!

I think it's lovely. I'd want to see it in person before having it set, but that's just me.

I have an I color diamond with medium blue fluorescence. I think it works well!! ;-)
I also agree that the numbers look pretty good!

FWIW I’ve found that too deep —> dark areas at more viewing angles. But IANAE so defer to others.

No leakage or painting. The light performance is good.

However, it is probably milky/cloudy.

That comment made me get up and come over to the computer for a closer look.
Grade setting vs2 feather with additional clouds not shown.
I found the feather and some not very large or dense clouds.
I'm not catching a milky/cloudy vibe from it but im not saying its impossible either.
Lets ping Garry for another opinion @Garry H (Cut Nut)

Agree with Karl - two little bits make it a VS1 so there is a VS1 cloud or two not marked because it would scare people off.
Not enough to put me off the stone and the fluoro will improve the color a tad.

I think this is a good stone as a trade option, given you have to work with the jeweler and they don’t always have access to great stones. When you see it you will know. The med blue will be fabulous. I think you will be very happy!
