Hello! I have found this gorgeous ring and would love some expert advice. It's a 3.48 carat j colour vvs2 clarity with side baguettes.

I'll attach some pics and the pic of the GIA cert.

What I want to know is - will a GIA "j" colour in a step cut be yucky and yellow? Does anyone have one they can show me of offer opinions on?

This is so beautiful and in my budget and I'm just hoping it may work out! Plus it's my size!!!

Given the size, the EC will show some warmth face up at a J colour; it is a matter of whether this will bother you or not, which none of us can predict. I am more concerned about the cut. Given the shallow depth (positive of facing up large) and the huge table (negative of very little fire and a lot of table glare), coupled with the hugely varying girdle (X-thin to V-thick which increases the risk of the girdle chipping), I would keep looking.
