laura, you pics are just amazing! You look so beautiful and both so happy.

I am in love with your bouquet!!!! The colours are simply divine and look great in the pics.

I have chosen the same shade of rose (the darker one) to go with paler pink roses and frangipanis, and my girls are wearing a purply blue colour, so are colours are not that disimilar. I am thrilled with how they photograph, they really pop!

honey22 - I''m glad the colors from my bouquet are giving you a good idea of how your flowers will look! The colors you mentioned definately sound very similar to what we had! I was thrilled with how well my flowers photographed...thanks for noticing! My girls dress color was called "cornflower blue," but I wanted to do pink and purple flower accents to tie everything together. Your bouquet sounds gorgeous BTW!

Dannielle - The pictures with my grandpa are definately ones that I will always treasure...especially him dancing! My photographer put that particular one in our wedding album, so I am excited that it will be there forever!

BTW, your mom looks beautiful, so many mother of the brides go all nanna-ish in what they where on their daughters day but not your mom, she looked awesome...and your dad looks so young, i totally thought he was your brother or something in the walking down the aisle pic! Hope you don''t mind me saying.

Rock Your Socks - You are definately not the 1st person to say that! My mom did not want a "typical" MOB dress, so she found a bridesmaids dress with a halter top that suited her body type. I told her to get whatever makes her comfortable! The dark purple color looked very regal on her and complimented our color scheme very well!

As for my dad, get him in a tuxedo, and he always looks younger! We went on a formal cruise once a few years back, and people thought he was my brother! I actually do have 2 brothers, which I failed to point out in the pictures, they are the two taller groomsmen. Thanks for the nice compliments! I know my mom and dad would LOVE you for it! HaHa!
