1ct cushion vs round brilliant

Hi,

If I were to get a 1ct stone, would a cushion look smaller than a round brilliant? Budges may not afford for a diamond period, but if it does, I''m looking at those 2 shapes.

I believe under most circumstances, a round will look bigger than a cushion, and most other shapes as well.

Then again, a 1 ct cushion...depending on type of cut, may be a lot cheaper than the round...so you can get a larger stone in terms of carat weight....so it will be the same size

Yeah, that''s very true. I bought a 2 ct fancy for much less than a 2 ct round would have cost, everything else equal.
