Hi Everyone! Popping in to share pics of my new treasure! A 16.04 ct GIA certified Unheated blue star sapphire ring with diamonds in platinum. It is huge and surprisingly clear with a fantastic star so I saved up and got it!

Thank you everyone! This one really was worth saving up for - it is true! @LemonMoonLex it reminds me of candy too! @bright&shiny a crystal ball comes to mind too! I have been looking for a big clear blue one for a long time. Also it was my size exactly! 5.75! I knew it was the one the moment I saw it.

The sapphire is beautiful, and the sidestones evoke images of wings. Truly a special star sapphire in a ring that reminds me of the celestial bodies. Congrats!
