My dad is welsh and carved 101 welsh love spoons from welsh ash as favours. It took him 3 hours each for the favours and 4 days for our bridal love spoon. What a Dad!!
It was pretty windy so I took my veil off and then didn''t get it back until the next day. Excuse the bad photo but it did look nice for the hour I wore it!!
Congratulations! You look so radiant and beautiful in every picture. Wow - Your dad is amazing – the love spoons are so cute! It’s a wonderful memento!

Hi date twin! HAPPY ONE WEEK ANNIVERSARY!!! Your pictures are as beautiful as expected. I did think of you last week and sent good wishes! your reception looked fab, your hubby is a cutie and you look radiant!!! more pics!
I think that my Dad is pleased to have finished all the spoons for my wedding, and is enjoying his ''retirement''. He''s not one to sit around doing nothing so we''ll see what the next project is!
The vintage coach ferried some of our guests from the reception to the church and back and we had a vintage Jaguar S Type as the bridal car. I won''t be able to live down the fact that I was 20 mins late, but this was because my mother and maid of honour were still helping me into my dress 15 minutes after the coach was supposed to have left and travelling at 30mph it couldn''t make up the time over the 90 mins it took to get to the church. I was there on time, but it''s not the done thing for the bride to arrive before the guests so we did circuits around the village whilst we waited. The girls from the school admired my dress and waved, but the boys were more interested in the car!
We had three bridesmaids - adult, 9 years and 3 years and they all looked different but coordinated. We also had four ushers in formal dress and the same style for the Dad''s. They all looked very smart! I''ll see if I can find a pic of them all once more photo''s come through. I was really pleased with my dress despite the fact I look a bit chubby in the pictures. I''m now completely spoilt and want all of my clothes custom made!!
The flowers were just what we wanted and the cake was yummy. I''d originally chosen one from a different shop only to be told a month before the wedding that they''d changed the design to one I wasn''t that keen on. It just shows that sometimes these things happen for a reason?
Best wishes for those that are still planning their weddings.
You look so beautiful, justlooking! Your flowers & reception site are stunning & I love the spoons! What a sweet dad to hand carve each of the favors! Congrats on your marriage!

Everything is beautiful! I love the dress and the reception area and the flowers representing all the locales and the church. You and your hubby make a beautiful couple!
Thanks for sharing--congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together!!
And I forgot to mention the SPOONS! What a sweet and loving touch--I''m sure every guest felt honored at such favors. Oh, and I love the cute hats that many of your guests wore, so stylish and British looking!
From where I am...in the states...these photos look like a royal wedding! The church, the landscape, the car, it is absolutely fairy tale perfection. The hat worn by a lady...the mens tux, your lovely dress and well everything. You made such a beautiful bride!
Our American weddings can''t compare...forgive me if I offended anyone. We have great ones...just not story book like yours!
Congratulations!!
