$ 1500 price difference between SK and VC

Hello Everyone
I have seen Steven Kirsch's work in person but not from Victor Canera although his work is beautiful based on what I've seen here! I received quotes from both of them and SK is $ 1500 cheaper. From those of you who have rings from both designers, who would you pick?!
This is for my RHR double halo in yellow diamond.

I have rings by both designers. VC did my emilya halo and SK did my 3 ring OEC RHR. It is sort of comparing apples to oranges as one is a pave ring and the other isn't. But with that said I LOVE both. I used SK for the 2nd ring because he is on the same coast line as me and his quote was also significantly cheaper then VC. Both have great communication, artistic eyes, and excellent workmanship. I'm sort of in the middle of planning my next project with SK but it won't be till the end of next year for a pave ring (pending quotes etc).

With that said I would probably go with SK. I really feel their work is equal in terms of quality and durability. Unless you are on the west coast and feel more comfortable going with VC, I would do the cheaper quote.

I like both .. but for me .. I would save the $1500 and go with SK. I don't have anything from VC but I do have a few rings from SK. I have examined VC's work closely through pictures and really like his halo work .. but not for $1500 more.

Butterfly- are you saying that you are haloing a yellow diamond with colourless pave or that your halo melee stones are yellow diamonds? If it is the latter- make sure they are quoting the same color of yellow diamonds.
