Hi PSers!

My e-ring is 14 K white gold & I am getting a 14 K wg half eternity band to wear with it. My FI & I are also getting a matching set of titanium bands to wear during travel, kids, activities, sports, etc.
Can I occasionally wear my titanium band with the e-ring as a fun stacking option? My e-ring is not 3 sided diamonds, BUT the sides are engraved kinda like Beverly K rings. Will the titanium scratch the gold? Should I only wear the titanium ring alone?
And for that matter, can I wear the titanium band with my platinum rings?

Thanks so much

Anyone? Sorry to be a bother....

Also, I am having such a tough time deciding between satin or polished! lol

Not wanting to be an alarmist, but I suggest researching titanium before you get the rings.
My husband is an engineer, and he works with titanium. He has forbidden me to get a titanium ring because if your finger swells, you won''t be able to cut the ring off. Most likely, your finger will have to go.
His father had an incident where his finger swelled, and they were almost not able to cut off the 14k gold ring he was wearing. They told him if he had waited a little bit longer, they would have had to cut his finger off.
With more and more titanium rings being sold, he really feels there should be a disclaimer with these rings.
Since you mentioned wearing them during sports, I don''t think it would hurt to look into it. I, myself, haven''t researched this because I believe what he says. (But admit that now I do feel like researching.)
Any of you jewelers out there have anything to offer on this subject?

I think there are several grades of titanium. I have read before about airplane grade titanium-and that it can''t be cut off.

Honestly, I''d get a satin white gold band. The tiny ones (2mm) cost about $70-100 depending on where you buy it from.

Here''s a 4mm white gold band for $129. link

2mm WG band for $65. link

I''m a paramedic and we carry tools to get off titanium rings, most hosptials have the same. Basically, they took the traditional tool we have always used to gut off rings and changed the blade some. Plus we have some wicked looked pliars.

It takes a little more elbow grease and some prying, but you will keep your finger.
