HI:

Yay! Pooches galore!

I am addicted to this event! :appl:

cheers--Sharon

Our mutts say, "Bark Bark, Woof Woof, Grrrr!"

Beagles... I remember watching when Uno won and cheering loudly because they're my favorite breed (and I had TWO at the time!) Glad to see Uno has continued having a great life.

We almost always watch it but I am just now seeing this! Will tell DH before tomorrow night and maybe I can record tonight's show in the morning. Thanks!

I predict that the German Shepherd will win Best In Show.

Hot damn, they have a Boerboel in the working group. First eligible to show. Love this breed.

I'm just getting off work. I feel like I've missed everything! :wall:

Of course he's biased, but this is Toro's "Mom, I'm not impressed" look

Thank you for reminding us that we could tune into this -- a fun antidote to the campaigning hooha :))

Excellent point! It's been hard to get away from the campaigning coverage.

Apparently I missed my calling and should have been a dog show judge. I correctly called every group (except herding, which I didn't watch), including Best In Show. Career change?

I wanted ALL of the dogs to win!!!

Nothing makes me smile and and squeal and wiggle my toes as much as Westminster. I say "oh I LOVE that dog" to each breed. I am like the crazy dog lady.

I saw my border collie mix giving me the side eye. She understands English perfectly well. I had to give her head scratches for reassurance. :D

You must have a great eye for good conformation in dogs! :appl: There is always a need for good judges too! :naughty:

I love it too! It's so fun to watch! :appl: :appl: :appl:

I especially enjoyed watching this year because they had live feeds of obedience. Mixes can compete in many AKC events now so you see quite a variety of dogs!

A friend from my Golden Retriever group who has a Golden and a Leonberger posted this picture of Dario from the Working Group. Apparently there is also a video on Facebook (to which I have no access) if one wants to see Dario attacking his handler's pocket and losing the event while becoming a crowd favorite. ;))
