Setting for ruby

I have been looking for a setting for a ruby I got from Gene. It is a 0.7ct, 4.8mm cushion. This stone deserves a fabulous setting, but I am getting another stone pretty soon and I need to save for my 2010 or 2011 project. So, I decided to get an inexpensive setting for now, and upgrade it in the future. I want this stone on my finger!

I am afraid that the prongs will overwhelm the small melee in #2, but it has my favourite profile. #1 is daintier. Any of them will have to be customized to fit my stone, but I want to keep it minimal to avoid higher fees.

What do PSers think?

IMO any one except #3 would work. It''s rounded shank wouldn''t compliment the stone''s outline which (although reminds of a cushion) is made of straight lines.

I like #1 - I think it would look better with the clean lines of the stone. I also saw a couple of others that might be able to be modified:
