Yes, you read that correctly, 100,000 people came to hear Obama speak in St. Louis, confirmed by the AP.

Holy crap, that''s a lot of people! WOW. I think even McCain supporters can agree that is impressive.

Here''s a quote from the Minnesota Star Tribune about the rally.
"The Democratic candidate drew his largest U.S. crowd to date on Saturday -- an estimated 100,000 people who came to hear him speak at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis -- as he campaigned in battleground Missouri just 17 days ahead of the election. And if that weren''t enough, another 75,000 turned out to hear him Saturday evening in downtown Kansas City."

I don''t think I could attend a rally with that many people. I''d feel so crowded. LOL.

Unreal. But it makes sense, this area is really hurting.

So awesome! Those pictures are crazy!

It was confirmed by the police as well, so Fox News et al. can''t blame it on the liberal mainstream media making stuff up to make Obama look good.

Easy.
(a) there was a free concert of some sort
(b) free drinks/food (all organic of course)
(c) free psychedelic drugs (liberals are on drugs)
(d) free money (certified taken away from the rich for socialist redistribution - liberals are poor and lazy)
(e) fun activities: "burn the flag"; "shoot a picture of Joe the plumber"; "have picture taken with terrorists";

And if Obama does in fact get elected, I will LOVE the change I get. ANY change would be welcome from the last 8 years of Bush missteps and mistakes!

You don''t think the 100,000 people could have been there to see Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel?

No, you are confusing two separate events. The concert you linked that article to was a campaign event in NYC which was atteneded by donors at $500 and up a pop. I would have liked to attend that, but it is too rich for my blood. LOL.

The event in St. Louis was a free event and Joel and Springsteen did not preform there. Just Mr. Obama.

250,000 people go to the Daytona 500 to watch little cars go vroom vroom. lol

I''d go to that concert, probably go get beers or popcorn at intermission (Obamas speech). LMAO. Sorry, I''ll stop now.

NO CONCERT? Then never mind, i''ll stay home.
