$ 10 K budget - what piece of jewlery to buy?!

Last time I was here when I had $ 10 K in my budget and was looking for ideas what to buy and expand my jewlery collection. A lot of people suggested WF and I bought beautiful AGS studs from Leslie (she worked at WF at the time).They are beautiful studs and I wear them every day and receive a lot of compliments.

I think I want to buy 5 stone ring for my RHR but not sure where to look? WH or BGD or Blue Nile. Any suggestions?

It is GORGEOUS and I totally want one. It is a fancy twist on a 5 stone ring...and would save you half your budget

If my finger weren't 2.5 sizes off and I had the $$ to spend, I would totally get it!

1) Cartier LOVE bracelet with diamonds
or
2) Van Cleef & Arpels Frivole pendant necklace or single ring

You certainly could do a designer piece with that budget, but I think a 5 stone ring is a very nice staple item to add to a collection! Definitely compare prices on diamonds before you buy from anyone. Then get Leon, or Steven Kirsch, or Victor Canera to make the setting! I was just looking at them myself. I love this setting:

I would check with WhiteFlash and Brian Gavin for your stones. You could probably do .40's-.50 depending on your color/clarity specs.

Do you have a diamond pendant? I think we need a current picture of your collection so we can make better suggestions!

I obviously am a bit biased, given that it was mine originally, but I second the Aurora suggestion. If you go with the original proportions it would be 7K about new. But of course, if it is your size or close to it (it is a sizable within reason) the one Dreamer is selling would be half your budget. And would leave a good amount left over for a pendant or other piece.

Wow, this is a gorgeous ring!!! It is so similar to my mom's 5 stone ring that I am just in love with! And I think that is a super price- a great deal. I wish it was in my budget because I would buy that in a heartbeat if it was!

Thank you for all your suggestions. Everytime I click on a link you provided, especially the 2.54 ring, the link does not work?!
Over the weekend, I went to couple of stores, Tiffany and Michael Fina and tried 5 stone rings and I think I decided that i don't like the look. I like 7 stone ring as because it looks like half enternity. I want to wear it on my RH. I really like the trellis setting. I will contact Brian Gavin and see what he can do. I love the studs I purchased when he used to work at Whiteflash, they sparkle soo much!
