First of all let me correct you, it "Does not allways" for sure lower the price on colorless diamonds.
It depends a lot on the appearance it effects if at all..., same goes with fancy colored diamonds.

so you are saying that a E color diamond with strong fluorecense could have the value and apperance as with Non Fluorecense E color diamond!?

In some occasions, it could be more valueble....

There are no set rules...., each Diamond has its own value which is based on numerous facts...

I have a friend who is looking to sell a 10 carat fancy color diamond to a consumer. He is a dealer with a client ready to make a purchase. This is not my deal, but I might faciliate you doing some business.

If you want to fax the details to me please use my e-fax 305-574-8191 and I will look over what you have and advise him to call you directly, if it seems warranted to do so.

A FIY with strong blue fluorescence will trade at a slight discount under a FIY with no fluorescence.

The blue fluorescence subdues slightly the FIY color under natural daylight. How much of a discount would be attached depends on the effect visible to the eye.

Interestingly enough, a FIY with strong yellow fluorescence will command a slight premium over a FIY with no fluorescence. One of the few times yellow fluorescence is a plus.

Thank You all for the replies.

David.i will keep you updated (thank you for offering your help)
