at least I think so...aesthetically speaking that is....

2 pics to download, hang tight

original CAD.....

and with a little more pave to make it go halfway around shank....

I like it with the extra pave. I also really like the head you are using. It''s going to be a gorgeous ring!!

its beautiful either way, but if it were me and the original already covered the entire top of the ring finger, then I''m just not inclined to add the extra .10 additional pave, unless I wanted a 3/4 eternity look or full eternity so I don''t have to worry about ring spinning which then will still show all the diamonds on any sides then I would add extra Paves not sure if that makes sense. But it is gorgeous.

ditto!

I agree with the others... if you are adding more I would personally go 3/4 because even with half way, when the ring spins a little, which it always will at some point, you see plain shank. That persoanlly bugs me a lot! Also, when you add a wedding band, you will most likely want 3/4 pave on that because the w-band will be even more likely to spin and with 2 half pave shanks you could get the rings spinning in different directions and end up with gold showing on one side with the e-ring and the other side with the wedding band!

Many people complain about this. So in my opinion with diamond shanks you either go big or go home! 3/4 or full eternity or no diamonds at all.

Love the head, the ring is gorgeous! Really my comments are just obsessing about little details...

It looks gorgeous! I personally don''t like seeing the line between the pave and the plain band area, so I''m all for the new addition. If your budget allows, I''d even add a little more down the sides so I don''t see the band pard when it spins. It doesn''t bother some people, but i know that it''s something that gets to me. If you''re okay with it, I think it looks fab! I wonder if the lower pave would make it uncomfortable at all though? (but then again, lots of people wear 3+ eternity bands, so I guess it won''t take long to get used to.)

Hmmm, you women sure do know your rings..........I think I''ll get her ring one full size smaller so by the time she gets it on her finger it will never ever spin.....her finger may turn albino white but the ring wont spin.....I''m just kidding...great insight from the PS''ers as usual...thanks!

LOL! I think that you should consider what type of wedding band she would like before making a final decision. It is much easier to design an e-ring with a wedding band in mind than to try and think about it later on and run into hassels making them match

Also, be sure she knows about how high maintenance pave can be! It is not a hard wearing style of ring and requires some babying OR a willingness to have melee replaces semi-regularly. Just something to consider now that you are putting so much time and money into the setting!

I hear ya Dreamer...I have it all figured out regarding the wb....I am going to say "here''s your budget....go do your thing..". I''m not even joking.

I swear to all that I can/have bought 25K cars, numerous times, within an hour of initial viewing....and yet this E ring has taken me months to decide....and within those months I cant even begin to count the hours of internal debate, indecision, second doubting, etc, etc........I am OUT of the wb process....rather I will go with her and just nod and say "yes dear, great choice" everytime she asks "what do you think?".......now, where is my remote?........

I have to agree with some of the other ladies. I would leave it with the smaller amount or go 3/4 way around if you
want a more overall look of eternity band. The half way round doesnt add enough for me. Either way its going to
be a gorgeous ring.
