1 year anniversary approaching, diamond ideals under 3Gs.

hello fellow pricescope members, i'm new here and in search of the perfect anniversary gift for my wife of 1 year. diamonds are must. looking for ideals for a cut, setting and of course something under 3Gs. i purchased her engagement ring from a near by jeweler and she absolutly loved it. it was a cushion cut diamond in a halo setting. the last thing i want to do is purschase something that will take away from her engagement ring but better yet accent it. should i be concerned about this gift taking away from her engagment ring? instead of a ring should i do earrings? pendent? or what? i am open to any ideals or suggestions. show me what you got pricescope. I WANT DIAMONDS.

So you don't know what type of jewel you want. I personally would go for diamond studs or a nice diamond solitaire pendant.

I adore pear pendants. And pears are less expensive than rounds per carat AND can have better spread (look bigger for the carat weight). SO my choice would be something like this:

If she loves earrings and doesnt have a pair of diamond studs, then possibly consider those!

Depends on her style and what she already has and wears. I'd probably go for diamond huggies or something from the
Tiffany key collection.

If she doesn't have diamond earrings I would get studs or huggies. If she has earrings then a nice pendant.

gypsy i love the pear shape pendent that you posted with the halo. earrings to match? if i go above my budget its ok. and just curious, will the pear shape clash with the cushion in the engagement ring? keep them coming pricescope. thanks.

I don't think mixing stone shapes is a problem. Her finger and neck are usually quite far away from each other and even if close no one would think it odd to have a cushion on one and pear on the other.

Earrings to match would push you way over budget. If it were me buying the gift I'd be tempted to save the matching earrings for another upcoming anniversary or special occasion.

That is a pretty pendant --- I agree save the matching earrings for another occassion. Besides she might not want a matchy-matchy set.

You also need to take her personal style into account...personally not really a necklace girl myself (not that I wouldn't wear the beautiful pear pendant halo necklace Gypsy posted) but would prefer studs, huggies, or an eternity band. Course she would probably love anything you got her. But just something to keep in mind.
