Ok, so I am sitting here waiting for my ring to come in the mail sometime next week, I am wondering would a 1.7 ct ring look small for my 5.1/2 ring size? What do u guys think? Does anyone have a pic of one so I can see it on an actual finger..

A 1.7 ct ring doesn't look small on anyone! Now, if it were a 0.17 ct, that would be a bit on the small side.

Honey, 1.7 ct ring will look plenty BIG on your 5 1/2 size finger.

You guys I've never tried on 1.70 ct diamond ring before, so I have no idea what it will look like for my finger. I have fat fingers

5.5 is hardly a fat finger. I think it will look great on you. According to the chart, it will cover approximately 50% of your finger!

You should stop by a store tomorrow and try on different rings. Get a feel for the size and look.

And this one too. To me it doesn''t look small, depends on what you think of as small. On pricescope, there are some GIGANTIC beauties that can dwarf stones under 2 cts, but in real life, people seem to think mine is pretty large. I wouldn''t want to go too much bigger on my hands, for my lifestyle it would look a little out of place.

Now I am a bit worry because some people think it may be cloudy, but I''ve asked people at JA and they reassured me that it is eye clean. I am still nervous though.

Holy moly - 5.5 are not fat fingers!!!!!! I have a 5.25 ring finger, which is like a J 1/2 - K here in Australia and I don''t know anyone who has smaller fingers than me! Anthing below a K is considered to be a childs size apparently, so don''t you go stressing about fat fingers!!!

1.7ct is going to look like a honker!

As Kelli said, their pics leave a bit to be desired.

If they say it''s eyeclean I would trust them. But if you have any reservations, call them up and tell Jim what they are and have him take a look at it again, see what he says.
