Hi rock

which lab graded this diamond please - GIA? This can have a big influence on price. Have you seen the diamond in person?

GIA

No problem, thank you!

Ok that sounds fine that you have seen it in person and love it, have you looked at many to make sure you know exactly what type of cushion you are looking for? If you haven''t done so, it is easy for them all to look good if you are just beginning, so it is so useful if you can look at and compare as many cushions as you can.

sorry to threadjack, but Lorelei I just love your new avatar picture---it is awesome!!!

I was quoted at 13.5K is that too much?

Not a bad price but perhaps you can get them to knock off $500 - $1000.
Is this a 4 main cushion brilliant? (63% table I hope it is one of those new modern 4 mains)

Also I found this stone which many PS vendors could pull in maybe you could do a side by side with the stone you are considering if your vendor is willing to pull it in.

E IF with only 1.4 Ct but bigger faceup size than your choice. Its very shallow so it could be great or could be a dud I have no way of knowing, but if it is not a dud what a steal in your spec range If it were me I'd take a look (may cost you $150 two way shipping if you decide to return it), saw an antique 8 main like this in a Harry Winston cushion stone that was shallow with great opics so it is possible.

Oh yeah and with your stone check the girdle you don't want it extremely thick in too many areas if it is you are getting a smaller faceup size as weight is being hidden in the girdle.

Good-luck with your choice.

Thanks Beech, I love yours too! Your kitty had a little woolly poncho in the last one?
