1.5ct Cushion on 3.5 finger ?

Does anybody think this will look to big? We do live in NY city, so I think that will help tone things down. Thanks for any thoughts.

Since a cushion will normally face up a little smaller than a same weight round, I think that size will be just fine!

I think it will be a perfect size... cushions carry a lot of their weight in their depth, so it won''t face up as large as a 1.5ct round brilliant.

I have a picture of a daniel k ring i tried on at pearlmans. it has a 1.5 cushion and although the ring itself is big, i wear a 3.5 so you can see what the size of the stone will look like. that said, the cushion only was a little over 6.5mm which is the same size as a 1 carat round, so definitely not too big at all. the stone also looks much bigger in this picture than it did in person.

Hmmm, thanks for the picture and all the replies. Now I''m concerned the stone won''t be large enough.
