Hi everyone,
I've been doing a lot of research, but I was hoping the experts and lurkers here could give me their advice/opinions on whether this is a good deal (and a good diamond). The price is around $12K. Thanks in advance!

Holy moly that's alot of red! Red=good. Bright stone. You can clearly see from the live pic how bright the stone is!

Based off that one static image, I'd say that's a nice stone.

Looks like a great ASET to me. The photo is a little blurry, but I can see a lot of red, a symmetrical pattern, and minimal leakage.

Thanks! From what I can see by trying to match specs online, it appears to be a fair price as well. I could be missing something though...

This is for an e-ring and I have question about the process:
Do I purchase insurance before I even take possession of it so that the insurance company can't claim I damaged it after purchase? Do I use the store's appraisal of it for insurance purposes or do I get my own appraisal first? Just the order of events here is where I'm confused (with purchase, appraisal, and insurance).
