Again I agree with Diamondseeker but wanted to point out, if you do not anticipate upgrading them in the future (because you are talking about getting pretty big earrings now) you might want to save $ by going expert selection ready-set-go earrings. Depends how much you value the upgrade option, so to speak. The folks at Whiteflash will help you get beautiful diamonds whether you choose your own or do the ready-set-go. It is far better to choose individual diamonds when getting stones the size you are talking about. One of the main reasons is that if you buy from a vendor with an upgrade policy, you can always trade the stones in later for a larger or higher quality pair. And I think staying under 2 cts. is a very smart move because there is obviously a big jump in price when you go to two 1 ct. stones. So look at the .75-.80 stones and you'll get a very nice size for a lot less money...at least that is what I plan to do myself!
