GF has changed her mind again! 
She's now set on a Radiant 1.21 carat, D VS1 from a local jeweler. I have the GIA report (14494659) which shows 6.38 x 5.28 x 3.96 mm, 75% depth, 63% table, thick girdle, no culet, VG polish, excellent symmetry and no fluorescence. Jeweler wants $6,600 for it (plus sales tax). He says it's a good deal from the $7,900 he would charge.
The stone seems tall and narrow from the measurements, which isn't necessarily bad I suppose. What am I missing here? This price seems high to me; when I search here on PS, I see many stones of what I think to be comparable features to be in the $5,500 ballpark. http://tinyurl.com/738agpn Am I wrong, or is hers a good deal?
EDIT: Now that I look at the PS search results, I don't like all the fluorescence and several have massive inclusions. Is abazias reputable?
