Hi,

Looking for some advice on two stones or suggestions (specs of what I'm after are at bottom)

Choice #1

1.35H VS2, table 69, depth 74

Choice #2

1.3 I VS1, table 61 depth 77
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/10403/

Both stones are within a few hundred of one another and to me seem reasonably close but am no expert. I am a little concerned about the inclusion near the bottom right of the 2nd stone.

Specs
1.2-1.4, G or lower color and sub 7.5K for stone itself. Light performance is important i.e. good fire/scintillation but I don't necessarily need a stone specifically cut for it.

Thanks in advance,

RM

I strongly prefer choice 1 over choice 2. I'll see if I can dig up a few more that fit your criteria.

Both look really nice, but due to personal taste you might prefer one over the other (that is, they are distinguishable.)

I don't really like GOG ASET images, but both stones do look good, I think I would choose option one, it's larger and a color grade better. Princess cuts can hold body color in their corners so if you are color sensitive you may see it in the I.

Thanks for the initial feedback.

I've tried looking a little bit more but nothing seems to truly stand out. Does anyone see anything that sticks out in the ASET for the first diamond that would deter them? My understanding is that it is very good but not ideal for an ASET.

Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions for 1.2-1.4, G or lower color and sub 7.5K for stone itself w/good light performance.

Many thanks again!

RM

what are the size dimensions of the first one

6.1 x 6.0 x 4.4 are the dimensions

Well that is a little bit bigger than the I VS1, and a higher color, so I would probably go with the H.
