I'm helping a friend to sell her ering from a previous relationship - a Tiffany RB solitaire. It's a 1.07ct E VS1. I don't yet know how to price it. Can anyone pls suggest a reasonable price? Obviously she's looking to get as much as possible. But I don't want the price to be too high, that it'd deter potential interested parties. I know what comps (non-Tiff) should be but have no idea abt the Tiff premium and Tiff secondhand prices for similar pieces.

Here're some pics of the Tiff cert. I've asked her for actual pics of the ring itself. Once I've got some reasonable pics and a selling price, I shall put up an ad on DB.

Thanks.

Thanks so much, Sharon.

I couldn't click on the first link, but I think I get the general idea as to pricing. So maybe $16-17k or so for this E VS1 ring?

all of those rings Sharon listed are 12-13k. I think 16-17 is probably too high..

I agree. Oakgem.com has some of the "best" pricing on Estate pieces; but it is just a guage. Check their site out and see.

I see. I was taking into a/c the higher E colour. No worries, let me ask my friend and see what she says.

Thanks, Mrssalvo and thanks again, Sharon.

HI:

Phoenix: if you peruse BGD or WF and compare the price difference between an E and F color diamond of same specs--the difference in price is app. $1000. You can check against other colors....

cheers--Sharon
