.035 vs .04 Please help again...

Hello everyone - Yet another question I''m hoping to receive a few opinions on...

How much of a difference do you think .035 and .04 would make in a shared prong setting? I tried on a shared prong band and e-ring with .035 diamonds and liked the look. When I called Signed Pieces they gave me a price based on .04 diamonds. Would I notice this small of a difference? I didn''t think to ask them when I had them on the phone. I''m hoping that the difference would not be enough to worry about but, before I make a final decision I am hoping for some input.

The difference will be very slight but visible, as to what degree depends on how your eyes notice subtle changes.

They probably gave you a quote for 0.40ct diamonds because they are more common than 0.35ct diamonds and thus easier to get hold of.

Ahhh indeed! Well it''s the morning so I''ll be forgiven I hope,

In this case then no, unless you have eyes like an Eagle (and a very good one at that) then it is impossible to tell apart such small differences.
