0.59 Ideal, I, VS2 Princess for $1,143? No way

Ideal cut on AGSL report, but report is from October, 2011. Am I missing something here? This just seems too good to be true because from what I understand AGSL ideal Princesses normally command a much higher price. Maybe ya'll can spot a flaw that I'm missing.

it looks good to me although I think your original BN setting will not work with a princess.

since you said she likes unique and sidestones (and the other one you linked had an antique feel) what about this setting?

That's very pretty, I was also considering this one: http://www.bluenile.com/baguette-round-diamond-engagement-ring-platinum_3174 after seeing the pictures of the ring you posted on the other page. Obviously the 0.59 carat diamond isn't as big as yours, but I think it would look great with the complimenting baguettes/rounds.

I think that diamond looks really nice! however I think the setting might overwhelm the diamond. in the 'recently purchased' section they show it with different sized diamonds so you can get an idea of what it will look like. the setting also has a peg head creating a gap between the diamond and the band.

Yeah I also indirectly figured out that she would not like the blue nile setting. I'm going to look into options/cost of sending the diamond from blue nile directly to james allen to see if they can mount it in the engraved trillion side stone setting.
