Thought I'd share a new stone I just acquired.

0.34 Carat Fancy Intense Pink Oval
4.6 X 3.6




Looks exceptional, especially in direct sunlight.

I'll start a new thread for recommendations on settings for my wife.

My wife saw it, said it was beautiful, but so small! I told her that's what you get if you want a natural intense pink diamond that doesn't cost the same as a house.

I think once set with other diamonds, she'll really appreciate it.

Hmm, I bet your heart sank a little when you heard that. As I'm sure that diamond wasn't cheap.

Unset stones look small-but be careful with adding a lot of bling to bulk up the stone-too much bling will dwarf the stone. I would suggest a nice halo with beautiful cut 10 pointers and two baguettes flanking the sides set in plat or WG..

That is a beautiful diamond. And a third of a carat for such a fine pink diamond with super cutting is fantastic, rare and huge.

Thanks for all the great comments! The stone has a lot of sparkle and fire, which I was happily surprised about. I'll try to take some better pics this weekend and share.
