AIGS called this a “Vivid pink Red Ruby” with indications of heating. To me, it’s a vivid pink sapphire, but who am I to question the lab? It’s a Burmese origin, though origin was not requested on the certificate.
Since it was certified, I re-cut it from a windowed 1.01ct oval to 0.63ct round. It’s not a high value stone, so I didn’t bother to get it recertified.
The color is quite vivid (as is the fluorescence), well-cut and it’s better than eye-clean.
