Black opal toi et moi by HoW

Sally from Hearts if Water on Etsy sent me these pics of the completed ring!!!

Awhile back I had asked for help in setting my holy grail black opal (well, my small holy grail, would love a bigger one some day!) with this antique emerald cut from AV. The opal is about 7x6 and the emerald is 6x5.

After debating designs, I opted for this layout since it’s different from my other two toi et moi style rings. I know I know, I’m a magpie for rings.

I asked if we could add some texture to the leaves either through etching or making it matte because the leaves read too “shiny” to me. But otherwise I love it!!!

Now That is some MASSIVE finger coverage! Its a gorgeous piece. The emerald is spectacular and the opal...YUM!
