Do you think this diamond is good and worth its price at USD 3900?

This is a good example of JannPaul Diamonds super ideal stones. Beautiful cut.

You can make your own judgments on price for carat weight based off the following stones below to see if the JannPaul stone is good value.

Similar sized stone with G VS1 characteristics from Whiteflash but about USD$1k less in price:

For ~USD3900 at Whiteflash, this 0.721ct G VS1 ACA:

At Brian Gavin Diamonds, for a USD3900 wire price, this 0.700ct G VS1 Brian Gavin Black:

0.716ct F VS1 Brian Gavin Blue:

0.731ct G VS2 Brian Gavin Black:

Definitely expensive....is it a beautifully cut stone? Yes. Could you get the same or bigger for equal or less at other super ideal vendors like bmfang listed? Yes and I would probably choose to go that route instead.

JannPaul would have the domestic Singaporean market cornered when it comes to super ideals at decent prices. This is compared against the only other super ideal retail operation in Singapore with a retail presence at Tianpo Jewellery locations: Hearts on Fire.

I couldn’t find specific HoF prices for Singapore, but given I understand they have standard pricing policies worldwide, an Australian ex-GST price for an 18k white gold six prong HoF signature solitaire with a 70 point Sensational grade (G/H, VS1-SI1) stone in it would be around AUD$10,200. Converted to Singaporean dollars, you are then looking at around SGD$10,750 at current mid-market FX rates.

I know which option I’d choose if I valued purchasing at a Singaporean location because I lived there: JannPaul. If not fussed about dealing with the importation of a loose stone or completed ring, then the US based super ideal vendors offer astounding value for money relative to JannPaul and Tianpo Jewellery.

Thanks for the comments!
I have one question. Looking at the ideal and aset scope images, there are uneven red tone in both images. Does it indicate slight leakage for those paler red?
