Throwback Thursdays: May 2021

On Throwback Thursdays, we here at PriceScope celebrate the jewels of our past. Every day on the Show Me the Bling! forum, Community members share their new bling for us all to enjoy. We’ve accumulated over a decade worth of fabulous additions from our members. The community at PriceScope is like no other and it’s awesome to get more chances to cheer for each other!

Throwback Thursday is posted each week on the PriceScope Facebook Page. On the last Thursday of the month, we will share them all in one post so that everyone can enjoy them!

May blew right past us, it’s hard to believe how fast this year is going.

MAY 6, 2021 ELECTRIC BLUE TOPAZ IN VICTOR CANERA SETTING

A cobblestone walkway under a hand aimed down with a stunning blue stone in white diamond prongs and halo.

Acinom shared this gorgeous electric blue topaz ring in a Victor Canera setting with us in 2016. That color is magnificent what a joy to have catch your eye throughout the day. The NSEW Halo is eye-catching and unique. The setting is delicate, feminine, and absolutely stunning. This is a knockout all around! Acinom always brings amazing pieces!

MAY 13, 2021 CARTIER 18K YELLOW GOLD MAILLON PANTHERE

A thick gold linked ring with 5 levels of links. The Maillon Panthere in on a white pillow in a red ring bow. It is yellow gold and filled with small diamonds along the outside.

Rubies-R-Me shared this Cartier 18K yellow gold Maillon Panthére band with us in 2014. In fact, it was May 6th, so nearly the 7th anniversary of the post! This is just a fountain of light, those sparkles are everything! This thick band creates such an outstanding and distinguished look on Rubies-R-Me’s finger. Rubies-R-Me mentioned that thick bands are their thing, and I think that this band could convert me!

Rubie-R-Me has sold that ring in the intervening years and hopes that the new owner is as happy with it as they were. I hope that we see it again!

MAY 20, 2021 JAMES ALLEN OVAL DOUBLE HALO ENGAGEMENT RING

A long fingered hand with a double haloed oval diamond ring.

Readytolearn shared this James Allen oval double halo engagement ring with us in 2013, and we are still loving it! This ring garnered the coveted YES! and those are always favorites with everyone here. The double halo on this oval really accentuates it rather than diminishing. It’s a magnificent piece and we love that readytolearn leaned into the PriceScope Community to get help finding this dazzler. There is no better community in the world for that particular job!

MAY 27, 2021 DIAMOND HUGGIES/HOOPS FROM ID JEWELRY

Diamond huggies/hoops in white gold on a white background.

Jill_s originally shared these 2ct diamond huggies/hoops from I.D. Jewelry with us in 2011. Jill_s knew what she wanted and was on the search! She considered a pair of 1.5ct huggies/hoops from Costco, but decided that she wanted to go with a PS vendor. She got in touch with I.D. Jewelry and they gave her a better deal on 2cts than Costco has on 1.5ct AND offered use of their upgrade policy! Incredible deal and they look fabulous! Quite the presence, indeed.

We are so lucky that the PriceScope Community loves to share their gorgeous pieces with us, it’s so great to get to look at all this beauty! These jewels are as beautiful as the May flowers in bloom!
