PriceScope is your go-to resource for learning about the current state of the diamond market. We discuss how socio-economic implications affect consumer buying behavior and the price of natural diamonds.…
March has marched right through and is not going quietly like the lamb, the lion has seemingly prevailed. That said, the enjoyment of jewelry is evergreen and we can visit blingy eye candy anytime we like!
On Throwback Thursdays, we here at PriceScope celebrate the jewels of our past. Every day on the Show Me the Bling! forum, Community members share their new bling for us all to enjoy. We’ve accumulated over a decade worth of fabulous additions from our members. The community at PriceScope is like no other, and it’s fantastic to get more chances to cheer for each other!
Throwback Thursday is posted each week on the PriceScope Facebook Page. On the last Thursday of the month, we will share them in one post so everyone can enjoy them. Onward to the Throwbacks for March 2023! Watch for the Jewel of the Week round-up for the new jewelry pieces we’ve featured from PS Community Members on the last Friday of each month.
Samranmal shared this stunning diamond and emerald ring with us in 2017. There is a sadness that comes when a marriage ends, but this brilliant use for that engagement ring diamond was a fantastic distraction. The emeralds represent Samranmal’s son, as it is his birthstone. The marriage may not have ended up as hoped, but it created her beloved son and she will always be grateful for that. Love it, what a superb way to make lemons into lemonade, that sparkle is off the charts!
Color Grade: G
Mrs-b shared this gorgeous tapered seven stone diamond ring with us in 2017. Mrs-b never disappoints, her taste is fabulous and she has truly beautiful pieces. This ring is no exception, from the uber bench at DKJ. Knocking this off the “wanted for the collection” list was a great move and this ring will look good with anything!
Tapered diamonds 2 x .16, 2 x .26, 2 x .41, 1 x .63.
When they’re all on the scale together, they come to precisely 2.3ctw.
All stones are H & A quality.
Color Grade: E

Set in platinum.
Ccardill shared this magnificent AVC solitaire engagement ring with us in 2011. We are always elated to read about a big YES and the ring that sealed the deal! This solitaire is TDF and the channel set diamonds really set off the center stone. Wonderful finger coverage, just an amazing ring all around. We hope that it is still being worn in health, wealth, and happiness!
Carat Weight: 2.25
Color Grade: I
BeekeeperBetty shared this beautiful sapphire and diamond target ring with us in 2018. This ring was a marker of the celebration (or consolation) of BeekeeperBetty’s 40th birthday! The sapphires are her dearly loved husband’s birthstone. Diamond is BeekeeperBetty’s birthstone so that takes center stage. This is gorgeous and by our math, next month should be her 45th and we for sure want to see what marks the occasion!
Color Grade: D
Chrono shared this 3.7ct Chrysoberyl Ring from Whiteflash with us. Tapping the resource at their disposal, chrono asked the members of the Colored Stones community for inspiration in the creation of this ring. The color just screams spring and that is what we were needing! Whiteflash was the right choice for creating this beauty, and we are impressed with the finished product. Gorgeous!
