Skippy, I love your new AV! You are so clever. Thanks for asking! He is not happy turning 30 but we had a good day. We didn''t really do anything. Went out to eat. Had a shopping spree at Walmart (of all places!). He wanted to get stuff for the new car. Then ordered a pizza from his favorite place. I got him a father''s day card from T, the cats, and me. Also a birthday card from us. He got a new external hard drive and apple TV for his birthday. Also just had fun hanging out with T. She is getting really good at crawling now. Also she has finally found the joy of peekaboo. So funny!

Sounds wonderful, I love those nice relaxing type birthdays!! Ah, that is too cute, that you gave him a card from you, Tessa and the cats. hehe Wow, I bet an Apple tv is cool; I have not seen them. Apple comes up with some pretty awesome stuff!!! Thanks, I will tell hubby you like the new av, it was his idea. It was sort of dare that happened while we were at Target getting my mom some goodies.

Go, Tessa, go; how cute that she is a speed demon crawler. hehe

Did you get a baby gate? Which books are you reading now? Do you have any beach pics from your vacation? What is 5 happiest memories? Who is your hero and why?
 
I did get ONE baby gate (for the top of the stairs). I am going to order the rest when we get back from vacation!

Five happiest memories (That is tough!)

1. Seeing DH before our wedding ceremony. Our wedding was so perfect and seeing his face when he saw me all dolled up was priceless. It was the best day of my life.

2. Having Tessa of course but it was so overwhelming (L&D) and painful so probably seeing her first social smile followed by hearing her giggle for the first time! It was so exciting. I still love hearing that giggle!

3. When my brother was brought home from the hospital. He was in the hospital for 3 months (he was born at 28 weeks). I remember that day SO clearly even though I was 6. I still remember leaning on his crib with my sister just staring at him.

4. Getting my BFP. I starting laughing, then crying. We were so excited!

5. When DH proposed to me on the beach. Took him 4+ years and just hearing him say he wanted to marry me felt so awesome.

I think I would have to say my mom is my hero. My dad worked SO much that in a lot of ways she was a single mom. She is the best mom ever and I consider her a friend as well.

I am in between books right now. I think my mom is giving me a bunch of her''s. I can''t wait to read the new Emily Griffin book. I posted some beach pics in the preggo thread but I''ll see if I can dig up a few more

Ah, that is sweet that your mom is your hero, she sounds like she did an awesome job with all of you (your family). One of my friends said that when she had her son it gave her a new appreciation for her mom since she would call her mom and say what do I do when baby cries, etc? I thought it was the sweetest thing!!!

Baby giggles are the cutest! I loved hearing my nephews giggle and he would giggle a lot; that use to crack me up because you could do the silliest things and he would laugh and of course we wouldn''t care, just so we could hear him!!! hehe Tessa is growing so fast, it feels like yesterday when you were preggo! I love the new avatar, was she laughing in that pic? What a darling!

Your five happiest memories are wonderful ones!!! They say the little things in life are the big ones, which is so true! Thank you for sharing!!! What are Emily Griffin books about? Do you like mysteries? Any good mystery recommendations??
 
Oh I talk to my mom a lot ANYWAYS but those first few months it was nonstop! I babysat my whole life but nothing prepared me for motherhood!

I was not a happy preggo.

Emily Griffin is chick lit. I love me some chick lit. I do like Janet E''s books (as I know you do too). Also I cannot think of the author but there are these murder mysteries about a caterer....anyone know who I am talking about? Those are cute too. Some of Meg Cabot''s are the perfect combo of mystery and chick lit.

She''s beautiful as always, Tacori. And wow...11 months! I think I joined (or at least started looking) when your picture was still of your e-ring, and now it''s gorgeous Miss Tessa at 11 months old. Wow.

Linda, since you are the co-president of the Tessa fan club (with miss skippy) I knew you would enjoy these. How funny the first 10-15 were great. She posed and paid attention then she quickly lost interest. But out of 100 I think I got a lot of frame worthy pics.
