Spain/Portugal anyone?

Looking to ask in the near future, just so happens we''re going to be going to Spain/Portugal for a few weeks. Never been there before, so does anyone have any suggestions on cities (mostly in the south or Madrid), specific places/restaurants or any other suggestions I can look into?

There is a little town in Portugal called Obidos, about an hour or so drive from Lisbon (which maybe is too far north from where you''ll be?). You could climb the old fort wall that surrounds the town and propose there. Or right within Lisbon is the Castelo de Sao Jorge, which overlooks the city. We were just there a few months ago.
