If anyone I know wore that anywhere - even to a nightclub - I can safely say everyone else would be horrified.

Sorry, that was unhelpful but I couldn't restrain myself.

Lola, I'm sorry, I searched for 30 minutes, and not a single site names the designer of the dress.

yssie, that was really mean! The OP is obviously new to PS and your post wasn''t very welcoming to say the least. The OP has just made it clear that it''s her dream dress and then you come out with that - nice

Lola, I don''t know where you can get that dress, but don''t give up the search yet! I think it''s a tad riske for my tastes, but if you can wear it with confidence, then go for it sweetie, it''s your day. And welcome to PS BTW

I have no idea where you can find it. But I am wondering if you really want a dress with a slit that high for your wedding? I had a decent (though, granted, modest in comparison) slit in my prom dress and the thing was a total pain all night. The slit coupled with the neckline on that... well you couldn''t bend over to kiss or thank anyone (and when you go around to people''s tables, or greet guests you do need to bend over) wouldn''t make it a very comfortable choice for a dress. Not that you buy a big white dress for comfort, but a little practicality isn''t a bad thing.

Unless you are eloping or having a destination wedding. In which case... it might be a great choice for you-- you''d defintely get your husband''s attention, and since those weddings are smaller and not as arduous in terms of hostess duties, you might be fine with sacrificing a little comfort for some va va voom.

You can always just get a similar dress (looks like a long chiffon bridesmaid dress from Bari Jay) without the slit and the neckline and have it altered. If you start with a bridesmaids gown in white and alter from their it would probably be quite affordable. Best of luck!

If you removed the modesty panel in this one (the beaded part at the bodice) and put a slit in it it would be close...

This one is also just simple and stunning... it has some of the elements of the dress above. And you could probably lower the neckline since it has all those gathers.

This one is sexy and glamorous

This one has a slit I'm sure you could raise a bit, and it's strapless!

If you have a generous dress budget I know Peter Langner customizes... this would be close with a slit and a lower neckline!

This one might be interesting with a slit in it.

This one is by Davids Bridal so you can try it on, and see if you can alter it to add a slit.

This one is sexy and flat out gorgeous

This one is very sexy and has a low neckline already... so all it would need is a slit in it.

Demitrios Destination Romance gowns seem to be close to your style... you could take a look at the website and see if anything there catches your eye.

Yssie I agree with honey22 on everything she posted but thanks for apologizing. I personally think that dress is hot and I would wear it for sure for my destination wedding. I already have one though and my 2nd fitting is tomorrow actually.

Honey22 thanks for speaking up for Lola. That''s really nice of you.

Lola good luck finding your dream dress girlie. I tried to google "alessandra ambrosio long white dress" and got a ton of results that way, however I''m at work and they block all the websites that come up. This place cracks me up. Good luck though!
