a lot of stuff -

Designer jeans
Body and face creams
Make up
Body washes (like purselover - I use Philosophy)
Organic foods, especially cereal
Shoes
Beer - I''m really picky and drink microbrew
Some books - I used to buy only new, but now am okay with buying used that look new
Hair cuts
Special cat food for my older cat

Plus lots more

I don''t like to pay full price for anything if at all possible. Things I splurge on:

Hair Cut/Colour (and salon products), same for both my daughers, always make them get the best
Dog food, super careful what I feed the dogs and one is on prescription food
Books--need to curb this habit, but as soon as a new hardcover from a favoured author comes out I can''t wait to read it
Education for my daughters regardless of what they want to study or if they change their minds

Everything else I wait for sales or just don''t buy designer goods.

With designer goods, I don''t mind spending more, but even with spending more, I always try to buy on sale. Macy''s had a sale in the fall. All designer jeans in Impulse were 20% off and then there was another 10% off for using my Macy''s card. Sure, I spent more than I would on jeans from The Gap or where ever, but I do love my Seven''s and a few others and refuse to compromise. Also, Nord Rack always has Joe''s on sale. My last pair was only $79, which I''m willing to pay.

Right now, Macy''s has many of their Coach items for 30% off. . .I''m so tempted.

music stuff-lessons, scores...
shoes that are comfortable and look great!!!

I love to travel, so I''m trying to loosen the purse strings and start spending on that some. Right now, I am still trying to replenish savings and pay down debt, but I''d like to enjoy my life too:) DH and I working on it, it''s hard when you have huge student loans!

Furniture and everything else for a new house! It is a LOT more time-consuming than buying diamonds, though!

- Pet food: I'll spend money for the highest quality pet food
- Vet care: It's not easy to find good rabbit vets, so I'm willing to pay extra when I find one.
- Wine and Beer: I try to find good deals on wine whenever possible, but I think we happily spend more than the average household on good wine and beer
- Food: I'm willing to spend more on ingredients and restaurants - if I'm going to spend money on it, it should be tasty.
- Shoes: I don't spend outrageously, but I think spending $100 on a pair is absolutely worth it.
- Makeup: I love high quality makeup, but I try not to buy it too often.
- Travel: I love to travel, though I admit I'm pretty cheap about it. No luxury hotels here. Still, I never regret a penny I spend, so it deserves to be on the list.

Food! And we don''t eat out, but I can buy great ingredients at a nice grocery store or farmers market to have excellent meals at home. Honestly, now that I can cook semi-decently, eating out is a waste unless it''s sushi!

My hair - I know it''s vain, but my long hair is a big part of my identity, and I would go nuts if my someone ruined my hair. I''d rather pay extra for a cut and color and get it done RIGHT.

We don''t splurge on much else at the moment - DH has even downgraded his beer!

I''d like to add candles. . .someone in the "waste of money thread" mentioned candles and that reminding me that soy candles are one of my guilty pleasures.

I probably spend $10 a week on soy voltives (not sure if that''s a lot or not). The best sweet one is Bean Pod Orange Vanilla - smells like those orange creamsicles from childhood.

spend 150. on my hair each month-that feels big to me

Love purses-but only spend 300. or less. Not the uber pricey ones.

La Mer eye concentrate. It really has worked for me and I tried all the cheaper ones and they
have not worked as well.

My Featherweight T3 hairdryer. Just had to buy a new one. Tried a cheapie and the difference was huge
so I bought another.
My kids.

things I don''t spluge on-most books-we have a great library system and I can get any book through inter-library loan. I read a ton.
Meals out-once in a while-I''d rather make the same stuff at home.
