I fall in love regularly & this guy is my newest. He makes jewelry -- mostly silver, some gold -- & anything else you imagine, from spoons to sculpture to belt buckles. His creations & inspiration come from the African bush where he grew up; what attracts me is that he interprets animals & their habits as well as habitats, the flora, the culture of the people, with respect & 3-dimensional poetry. Thank you sooo much for sharing--what spectacular work! I love everyday items that are artistic and special and become heirlooms. When my best guy friend and one of my best girlfriends got married last month I had no clue what to get them. I wanted to get them something more special than the kitchen shears I got them for her shower. Booooringgg!!! They already everything they need from their registry. So I still haven't bought them a gift... She spent a year in Africa building a school and teaching english, so I think that the Tsoko Buddhist Monkeys coffee spoons would be the best gift ever! The spoons sound perfect for her, Tuffyluvr! A very personal, beautiful & loving present. I want almost everything on that site too. If I didn't look awful in silver, I would now be the proud owner of those big crocodile earrings. Though I have a pair of gorgeous Georgian/Victorian solid silver candlesticks DH bought me for my birthday when we lived in Holland (because he wanted them even more than I did), I'd flog 'em in a minute to see those elephants & candlesticks walking across my table.

I LOVE his little explanations about each animal & that he even includes their footprints under the trees. It's all so graceful too. Glad you like them, folks. It's nice to have fellow appreciators (new word I invented).
