The idea was they'd be related videos.
But wait.
There are also some titillating, but unrelated, videos to catch your eye.

These "Replygirls" have figured out a way to trick Google's algorithm, and make money on click-throughs by using a thumbnail of their cleavage.
Guys can't resist clicking through.
Their video will have nothing to do with the original video, but there will be some nice boobs to ogle.
If they can get enough views the women can make quite a bit of money.

Nope. It's taking advantage of base instincts. I find it both fascinating and terrifying that people can make a living off of this.
