i bought my veil! it''s just a corded edge two tiered fingertip length veil. it cost me $69. not bad.

my BRA, however, cost $79.

Did anyone get the david''s bridal corset thing? my dress isn''t from there but I LOVE THIS BRA. it feels like it''s made of memory foam or something and is super comfy -- not all wiry and pointy like most corset straplesses. :)

I LOVE IT! :)

anyway, my big thing now is HAIR. i want my hair to be half up or all the way up. my dress is a ballgown in satin with swarovsky crystals on it.

any idea for hair? either all up or part up? what are you all doing??

I got the bra...from David''s Bridal how...funny....it''s so comfortable...and it is long enough too..

Hair....I have pictures but from Magazines....I will try and find it online...

yayyy! :) i like the bra. (well, not like it enough to wear it every day, but don''t think it''s bed for the wedding!) :)

i''ll try to find some pictures of hair.. it'' sjust a pain.

Is it the long-line bra with foam in the front and only boning in the back? I bought one 2 years ago for various occasions, and am not yet a bride!! I wear it all the time! (Well, once every 2 months, but that''s pretty good for that type of bra).

However, I''m not sure of the manufacture of the David''s Bridal one, but I got one made by Felina at macy''s while they were having a 30% off sale, and I worked there at the time and got another 20% off, and ended up buying it for something like $40.

It''s great because it''s very smooth in the front, although it doesn''t have as much control as more traditional corsets. But I''ve always likes wearing corsets, even though I''m skinny, so I guess it''s kind of a weird point.

I like the look of hair half down instead of all the way up - it makes it a little softer and I like to see some hair falling with the veil. But with a ball gown the right updo will look fantastic as well!! Have you checked out weddingchannel or knot''s hair section? They have pictures of different hairstyles depending on how you want to wear it.

I''m doing either half-up or all down, with my round face I cannot pull off a full up-do.

Anyhow, I saw these pics the other day and really liked the look - soft and not ''overdone'' but still pretty. I thought that the broach thing kinda dressed it up as well.

I love the style teebee posted, but I''d be concerned that it might not look nice all day. A style that is so loose, but still done with a curling iron may fall out or get tangled depending on the type of hair. I had a half-updo for my wedding and it held pretty well even for an outdoor wedding, but I had the hair near my face pulled up so if my curls got looser or frizzy it wouldn''t affect right by my face.

Does your David''s Bridal corset have wiring in it? I don''t know which one you''re talking about but I did get one of theirs that has boning in it...and the 3rd time I wore it, one of the bones (metal things) poked through and was stabbing me in the armpit! Funny now sorta, but I had to yank the metal thing out during the reception and toss it!!! LOL

Yeah, I guess it would depend on the type of hair you have. Mine is curly - similar to the pics I posted but not so "perfect" but is the kind of hair that will hold curl from a curling iron and will not fall. I do have some problems with frizz, but have found the right products to alleviate that. And, I guess you also have to consider what type of wedding, location, time of day, etc. Ours is at 6:00pm and although it looks like it''s outside, it is indoors and in A/C as is the reception. If we were having a daytime wedding, or outdoor wedding, I don''t think that style would work for me, I get too hot.
