Hi everyone!

I am on a such a high right now.....to think that months of research & looking have finally paid off.....I ordered my dress!
It is the Lazaro 3750 & it can be seen here:

I couldn''t take pics at the bridal salon, but when it comes in I will be sure to post pics. I am 5''4", fair skin, light brown hair with blond highlights, blue eyes, & I hope to wear 3" heels....what do you think would look good with this gown? I am excited to see what everyone finds! To the brides that had lacey beaded gown, what shoes did you wear?

Also, a bit of apprehension has set it...there were soooo many gorgeos gowns to choose from & I am driving myself nuts thinking of the other options...do you think i made a good choice?

Thanks so much everyone!

BTW, the dress came in both white or ivory --- I ordered ivory because I felt the white was too harsh against my fair skin.....

GASP. LUCKY GIRL!!! I love Lazaros but they''re out of my budget. I can''t wait to live vicariously through your pictures! I had never seen this one before but I think it''s hands down one of the most beautiful Lazaros I''ve seen. IMO, you done good. Really, really good

gasp is right!
you are going to be stunning in that gorgeous dress!

THAT DRESS IS TO DIE FOR!!! Congrats!

EEEEE! My jaw dropped when I read the responses so far! Thank you SO much Octavia, jcrow, & trillionaire!! You have totally lifted my spirit :)

It''s nice to tell my "PS friends" because absolutely no one has any idea what my dress will be except for my mother....

This is actually my 2nd dress. No, I am not going to be a two dress bride - I have to sell the other one.

My first dress was the Melissa Sweet Lia....but I am such a vintage girl that the Lia just went against my true style. Don''t get me wrong, I LOVE the Lia, it is a classic for this wedding generation, the fabric is so luxurious, & the lines are clean & classic......sigh

Back to topic! Shoe/accessory help ?

I LOVE your dress - I think it will be absolutely gorgeous!

I think for shoes, I''d go for comfort above almost everything else. You will be on your feet A LOT the day of your wedding. That said, I think something like a D''Orsay pump could be a nice, semi-vintage shoe option. Don''t know what your budget or style is, but here are a couple of ideas:

pricey but gorgeous

cheaper, could probably be found in other colors

If you want something a bit more modern-looking for the shoes, and that could be worn again, I and two of my friends (including the bride!) all had these at a wedding I went to last weekend and they were super comfy:

strappy sandals

For accessories, again, price range and style information would be helpful. If your style is really vintagey, I''d consider something with pearls - either a classic single strand, or possibly a triple-strand choker, preferably with an antique-looking clasp. Or if you want something a little more delicate and subtle, you could try a pendant. White Aisle has some really gorgeous options - definitely worth checking out:

pretty pendant with pearls

So exciting, I love it!

I will check back with shoe help in a bit.

That dress is completely gorgeous - I can''t wait to see pics with you in it! I second all of AmberGretchen''s suggestions. That dress deserves Manolos! I''m completely jealous of all of you out there with Sedarby''s. . .

Congratulations! I'm also going to be a Lazaro 3750 bride

I can't wait till I can wear it next April!

Can I ask how white the "white" was? I've only ever seen the ivory (which is what I bought). I was a little worried that it would be too much color for me (I'm medium complexion?), but my sister assured me it looked fine.

I'm also trying to figure out what shoes would go best with this dress. The lace is so classic and has a really vintage feel so I don't want something too modern that would clash, but I don't want shoes that scream "wedding" so much that I can't wear them again.

But anyway, just wanted to say hi and congrats on the find. It definitely is a gorgeous gown :)

Oh wow, that''s is stunning! They didn''t let you take pictures when you ordered it? Booo!

I was in love with two Lazaros as well, but they were sadly out of my budget. > I did happily end up with a beautiful Pronovias so all is well, but I am very happy for you to have gotten such a breathtaking gown. Please don''t second guess yourself. It is lovely.

I think that if you''re going for vintage, either D''Orsays or T-Straps would be great. Zappos has some dyeables that might work:

There are lots of other gorgeous shoes, but it would be helpful to know things like size, budget, heel height, whether you want them to match your dress or be colored, etc...there are always people willing to shoe-hunt on here!

Wow!! Beautiful dress. I don''t have any suggestions for accessories, but you will be a stunning bride!!

Thank you so much again everyone!

Ambergretchen - you are such a sweetheart for doing that for me! God those Manolos are tdf! I wanted to reach through my computer and grab them! Unfortunately, they are out of my price range especially after getting this gown (& since the Lia isn''t sold yet).
I think my requirements are peeptoe, approx 3" heels, & around $200....hopefully there is the perfect shoe out there, but it is hard to look after seeing those Manolos!

SarahLovesJS - Can''t wait to see what you come up with!

Newbie124 - I felt like the white was very bright white, if that makes sense. Against my fair pale skin, it was more like the dress was wearing me! Even though you have medium skin, I always think that ivory is a much easier color to wear & lets your skin glow!

MaggieB - I heart Pronovias! Do you have pics of your gown? I would love to see it!

Octavia - I thik getting dyeable shoes for bridal is the way to go....thanks for the links!

Oh it is gorgeous, I wouldn''t second guess myself if I were you! YOU will look stunning in it Im sure!!!

That dress is gorgeous!!

beautiful dress!!! I also have a pretty detailed dress with lots of beading, etc. and I am planning to do a simple ivory peep toe as white may be a bit much under the ivory dress :) What about these?

Ooooo Modernsparkler, those are gorgeous & the price is very nice!

Also, this line of bridal shoes by cynthia rowley is completely adorable....the soles of the shoes ae painted pale baby blue ("something blue").....This is my favorite style from the line:
