To answer K's question... not conventionally beautiful in an aesthetic sense. However, she looks like she probably was extremely lovely when she was younger, tattoos or not.

If she was walking down my street, I would wonder what on earth she was thinking. I do not think that Seal with his tribal markings on his face is attractive either. I prefer natural beauty.

Trill - Seal does not have tribal markings. He had discoid lupus erythematosus as a teenager, resulting in facial scarring. It''s in remission now. He''s spoken about it in several interviews, not sure if I can find one now, but if you search you should be able to find one pretty easily.

No, I would not say this woman is beautiful.

I do think she has a very pretty face. I do not think her facial tattoo is attractive, and I do find it distracting. Even so, I would say she is pretty.

When questions of beauty come up I often think of Sir Francis Bacon''s quote "There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in proportion." I''ve learned that my perception of beauty fits quite well with Sir Bacon''s. This woman has a very symmetrical, well proportioned face. I find that to be very pretty and pleasing to the eye. But beauty--things that are beautiful are usually striking and different in some way. At least to my eye. I always think of Uma Thurman. Her features are not perfect, but together they make for one incredibly beautiful face.
