here is a veil I tried on with another dress.....
This one is the right thinkness, but the cut is not cohesive with the dress. A veil with not such a square cut going down your face, across your amr, and then across your back. I would look for something with a rounder line cut.

The cropped one above it(with blonde pony tail) is a good cut, just thinner, more delicate, material.
the photoshopped one?

Very helpful...I keep thinking to be a non veil bride...but I like the brideyness...lol

Yes the photoshop's one... And I totally understand the bridey'ness factor

I just did a quick search, and my inital thought it that these gowns are designed to be veil free. Did the stylists at your salon say anything about what other brides have done?? This is odd, I can't find a veil for ANY of her dresses.

they said it was a very popular gown, but did not specify any veil options. I love the dress, the veil should accent not detract...what to do?

Iwanna - personally, my vote's for no veil. I know this wasn't a choice, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. You look stunning and you're going to totally rock your dress

Given the beautiful detailing of your dress, I'd be all about showcasing that without any "distractions." Just my two cents... Whatever you decide you're going to be a knockout

I think your dress is sooooooo beautiful on you. It''s perfect for you. I love seeing you in it. And is bustle''s beautifully. I am so envious of that right now.

You could do veil or no veil, but I think the first one was too poofy for you and your dress. It would distract the attention away from your beautiful face and glowing smile.

Rocking the Birdcage wasn''t bad either.

I like a two tiered veil elbow length for you, but I don''t know squat about this type of thing until I see it on. I''m a visual person.

That is my dress.

..I''m just not a scary model...

That would make for an interesting thread...most unpretty models. There are some scarys out there!!!!!!!!!

Hi, IWANNA...
Hope this helps. I know it''s not your dress but is same designer. I think this is what others were mentioning, a 2-tier that ends at the corset. Mine is corded but plain would be good too. I was aiming for plain edge but thought it was so cool that I found an actual cord that matched that color exactly that I ended up with an edge anyway. You''d have the option to wear it on top of your head, which would give a poofy look.

Haha, perfect if you're going for a western theme!!

And yes, bridal models tend to go both ways...

Winston: This is what I was thinking the thickness should bee for the tule. I'm thinking if you want some poofy you'll have to use 2 layers.

Hi! Coming out of lurkdom to suggest a veil like the one my sister wore. Very poofy and bridal! It looked beautiful with her dress, and I think it would compliment yours as well!

KB, Your sister's veil is beautiful as is her dress!! I love how soft and flowing-like the fabric is! Kind of wishing I had a veil like hers myself, but it's too late for that now. Lol.

IWPO!

How''s your veil search going? You should take a look at the Veil Trends site:
Veil Trends

I''m no expert at this sort of thing, but maybe style Style No. V207? Without the tiara, and you can always have a blusher added. I really don''t think there''s any right or wrong about which veil goes with which dress. I do see what SG was saying about the smaller veil being out of proportion with your dress though. I didn''t notice that myself initially.

Thanks LovesVintage!

It''s going, I even bought diamond white tool and my mom is going to put some different options together....

I need to find hairs styles too!

Oh Iwanna, inquiring minds want to know, does this mean you''re going with a veil?
