When I was working 12s 12a to 12p and 12p to 12a about one in 3 new people showed up at the wrong time.They finally changed it to 11 to 11 to get around it.

12:00 am is Midnight (the beginning of the am, or "morning" hours). 12:00 pm is "noon", which marks the beginning of the pm (afternoon/evening/night) hours.
