I took my greyhound to a Halloween event to promote greyhound adoption. Here's my boy in his pharaoh costume.

How cute is that? My little guy is going to be a prisoner again this year!

Hah! I love it!!!

hopefully this works...

Cute photos LV and Thomperchik!

No, the kitties would protest so I'm not dressing them up. Dogs are so much more tolerant.

No. It makes the cats mad and the dog gets sad.

Wow both the dogs posted are cuties!

Surprisingly enough, I don''t dress my dogs up for Halloween .. so probably not this year either.

That''s so cute! How in the world do you guys get your pets to wear things on their head? We try to put anything on our yorkie''s head (hood or hat) and he''ll just stand there with his head hanging down to the ground. Apparently he''s not a fan...

Nope. Kitty has claws and isn''t afraid to use ''em.

Your dog looks pretty happy in his costume, though!

I''ve posted these before, but I just think they are so hilarious! These are my sister''s pugs last year (or the year before?):

What cute pics.

Here are our dogs one Halloween.

I thought about it, but I know that they wouldn''t stand for it. They would probably join forces to remove any costume I put on them.

How cute! My dog hates to wear clothes and cringes when I put on his raincoat (like yesterday) or winter coat.

My kitties would all FREAK OUT so I decided to save my hands and face from the claws and refrain lol.

Thomperchik - He is so adorable! He's the cutest little prisoner I've ever seen.

Geckodani - Your sister's pugs are just hysterical in their costumes!! Did she make the costumes?

Kenny - Just adorable!! They are so little!! Such perfect little costumes!!

Erinleigh - He looks like a good sport, doesn't he? Greyhounds are so used to being handled, that he really didn't think much of it! I didn't keep it on him for very long, just for photo ops and when a new crew of people would come over to meet him. People could not get enough of him!! Oh, and there is an elasticized band that goes under his chin that to keep it balanced. I got the costume from BowWow Bonnets. She makes hats (uhm, not just for Halloween

) for all dogs, but she has a lot of greyhound customers. This is my all time favorite greyhound hat photo. I love it! Makes me laugh and smile. Such a pretty girl!

Loves Vintage - Hee hee, no she didn''t make them, but they are hilarious! Chatchke the beige one is so chill, she cracks me up.

Pearls will be in a home-made toga. It''s not working out so great because I can''t get her to stay still long enough to get it fitted right.. But oh well!!

My vet had an open house last Sunday with a best-dressed pet contest. I really wanted to take my bunny, Otto, but I couldn't come up with a costume he would've put up with. Bunnies aren't into being dressed up like dogs

Maybe we'll enter next year when he's older and calmer. I think he'd look very handsome in a hat and cape

Any other bunny friendly costume ideas?

elrohwen,

If I am recalling correctly, you and I are in the same state, so this is going to sound very funny, but I have to ask -- is your vet in S. Wilton by chance? If so, that's where I was last Sunday, at their open house - AND - there were several bunnies there. One was in a very cute witch costume. I took a pic and will post later today from my other computer.

And, by the way, Otto is adorable!

Bodhi won''t be getting dressed up, but he will be part of my costume! I''m going to be Little Red Riding Hood and he''s going to be my Big Bad Wolf.

They are all so cute!! I can''t wait for next year back in the US when I can torture my pup and dress him up.

Everyone''s furbabies are so cute in costume!

Heck yea Bailee will be dressed up for Halloween. We''re taking her to the Spooky Pooch Parade at the Botanic Garden tomorrow, and we get hundreds of trick-or-treaters, so it''s super fun to dress her up.

She was a pumpkin last year. She''ll be a French Maid this year. I figure she can take care of us for one day.

The pictures are from my cell phone so they''re not great quality, but you get the idea.

Dress up my cats for Halloween???

Not unless I decide to go as an accident victim!

Oh, those doggies all look so good in their costumes!

(good... yes. happy... decidedly, no!)

Some of them look downright aristocatic, even!

The bunny could wear a top hat and cape and pull a little magician out of the hat!

Oh I love this. If you could find a way to pull it off, your bunny would most definitely win the contest!
