Probably not. My feelings about my civic duty to be informed are conflicting with my feelings about the prez-elect. I'll probably be doing something else on the 20th and read his comments later on. (I tend not to have a lot of patience for speeches and to prefer to read them after the fact anyway, unless the speaker is a very good orator.)
How can you be so sure? This is a man who defied his advisors when the presidency - and his reputation/"brand" - was at stake. Surely that was more important in his eyes than the common good or the good of the country or good policy or pretty much anything else. If he defied his advisors at that important juncture - and won! - why on earth should he start listening to them now that he is prezident?
I will admit that I have a pretty dark view of this whole thing.
