Hey Linda W I believe you asked for my recipe for the custard...it is the same as the pie, just put in casserole dish or pie plate and bake as pie...

Wifey2b''s Pumpkin Pie

1 can pumpkin ( large for 2 pies )
1 cup sugar
4 eggs beaten
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
4 tsp cinnamon
2 cans evaporated milk

Mix ingredients in order. Pour into pie crust ( I used graham crust, and when doing so, paint crust with egg white so it does not totally burn up - lol ) If you want just custard, then pour in casserole dish or empty pie plates.
Bake at 425F for 15 minutes, then turn heat to 350F for additional 45-50 minutes...until knife comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream and enjoy!

Wifey2b,

Thank you sooooooooooooo much. I will make the custard for Christmas, instead of pie. I should say, my daughter will, because I don''t bake. HA!!! Sounds delicious. Yummmmm.

Linda

Are these the little cans, like 5 oz, or the bigger ones?

And it does sound yummy!

That would be the 12 oz. can...sorry, I had to convert from ml. to oz. lol
I hope everyone enjoys it...it was actually on the side of the "Libby" can of pumpkin.

Thanks Wifey!
