I''ve tried reading some old posts about this, but I''m still really confused. Who am I supposed to tip?

The venue for my ceremony/reception includes a 18% gratuity charge, but do I tip the wedding coordinator that is employed by the venue?

Do I tip vendors such as florist, photographer, DJ/band, baker, etc? And how much do I tip them?

Help! :)

Hmm.. I am curious for answers on this too! My bar service is already adding on a 15% gratuity, so I will not tip them. They will probably get tips from some guests too. I hired a harpist, I will probably not tip her. Her fee is around 350 dollars. My caterer is getting paid A LOT, I doubt I will tip her. Possibly the DJ? I need answers too!

musincy... if you do a search for tip or gratiuty and ''vendors'', etc you''ll get a few threads where it''s discussed. But I *think* the general thought is:

A) if someone goes above and beyond, tip them
B) if someone owns their own business (so the money goes straight to them) you don''t have to tip them unless you you want to because they stand out or go above and beyond.
C) For vendors that work for other people, or companies... generally you should tip them.

I''m not positive though about places that already have a service charge built into their pricing. I don''t think you tip them though... but you can tip their employees.
