Wedding Which Monogram to use for Wedding Dress Label?

For my ''something blue'' I was thinking about having a small label stiched into the lining of the dress. It is a blue monogram with the wedding date on a white label... anyways, what monogram do I use? My maiden name or my married one? I wasn''t sure since technically I''m not married YET when I first put on the dress... details, details!

If you and your future husband have a monogram that you will use together, I would use that one. I think it''s a great idea whichever one you choose.

I agree with Misspinky- that if you plan on sharing the same last name after the wedding then you should use the monogram of that name. What a cute idea for your something blue!

I STILL haven''t changed my name, and I''m not sure that I will...have issues with it...so it''s hard for me to give tell you to use your married initials.

That said, if you''re not having any name issues at all, I think I would use your married initials.

how about both next to each other? Like for example, CD * CR, to symbolize the change that will take place that day?

Technically, you''re not supposed to use a married monogram until you''re actually married...but since you''ll be both unmarried and married on the day you wear the dress, I think you should go with whichever one feels right! Or perhaps put your current initials and your FI''s initials along with the wedding date, or something like that?

I emailed the woman who makes them. She said that a lot of brides use their maiden name... or if I wanted I could do what misspinky suggested with the mine, ours and his thing...
